Is this website a scam?

I recently found this really good deal for a ducati 1098 motorcycle on adoos.com for 2700 in just about perfect condition…which is way less than it should be. But I thought he really needed to sell it or something. Anyway, after contacting the seller, he gave a few details on the bike and said he would cover the cost of the shipping. I said I wanted to check it out in person (because the listing was for NY and I’m from NY). He responded the bike is actually in Mississippi but if we used this website www.usatransitinc.com then my money would be protected and his bike would be protected. He sounds like a scam but the website looks pretty legit. What do y’all think?

Want more proof, write back to say that you have a buddy in New Orleans who has to be in Mississippi on business later this week and he’ll come by and check out the bike, and if it’s in good condition he’ll pay cash. Then you’ll just fly to NO at Easter and ride the bike home

Think about it – if he was in Mississippi then WHY would he list the bike in NY? Of course this is a scam
